Tracy Scott, Megan Ellison Films Script Supervisor, Dies at 46

Tracy Scott, a script supervisor for Megan Ellison Films, has died. She was 46.

Producer Megan Ellison confirmed her death in a tweet Monday evening that read: “Rest in peace Tracy Scott. A stunning soul and talent, my prayers are with her family & loved ones. You are missed.”

Scott worked for Ellison on hit films such as “Joy” “American Hustle,” “Her” and “Foxcatcher.”

She was diagnosed with breast cancer in May 2015, and was told by doctors in April that it had spread to her liver.

Scott also worked on “Whiplash,” “Veronica Mars,” “The Gambler,” “Black Mass” and “Concussion.” She had recently been on location for Nash Edgerton‘s “American Express” in Mexico but had to return to the U.S. for health reasons.

Originally from Charleston, South Carolina, Scott was raised in Toledo, Ohio, and passed away at her parents’ home in Lady Lake, Florida.
