Donald Trump used photographs of Hillary Clinton with Bill Cosby and Anthony Weiner to attack her on an issue where she would seem to have obvious advantages: protecting women’s rights.
In the video, captioned, “Hillary and her friends!” the former secretary of state can be heard talking about women’s rights in a voiceover, as images of Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky flash across the screen. Photographs of Hillary Clinton standing near Anthony Weiner and Bill Cosby soon follow.
After the Cosby photo appears, text sarcastically adds, “true defender of women’s rights.”
Trump has used Bill Clinton’s sexual history to try and point his Democratic opponent as a faux-feminist.
Hillary Clinton told The Des Moines Register in December that Trump had “demonstrated a penchant for sexism.”
She has since vowed to ignore his attacks.
Trump said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” this week that he would continue citing Bill Clinton’s sex scandals if Hillary Clinton continues calling him a sexist.
