Fox News Host Tucker Carlson butted heads on Tuesday night with a guest who declared: “Trump and Pence are operating out of Hitler’s playbook, only they have nuclear weapons.”
The guest, Refuse Fascism organizer Sunsara Taylor, said that President Trump’s administration is a “fascist regime” — prompting Carlson to ask: “If it’s a fascist regime, how are you on this show?”
Taylor addressed Trump directly on Carlson’s program, telling POTUS that there are more Americans protesting his presidency that who attended his “Nazi inauguration.”
Carlson looked completely shocked as Taylor continued to call for Americans to continue to resist.
Taylor called Trump a “danger to humanity” and once again compared him to Hitler before Carlson finally said, “This is like play acting for you. If you really thought he was Hitler… then you wouldn’t stop with going on a cable show. I mean you’d go all the way, wouldn’t you? You don’t really think that or else you’d be committing acts of violence, right?”
“Actually, he’s not like Hitler. He has a Twitter feed, he has that ugly orange thing on top of his head, he has nuclear weapons. The biggest nuclear arsenal in the world,” Taylor said. “He is more dangerous than Hitler ever could be.”
Carlson and Taylor went on to argue for a few minutes, with the Fox News host eventually calling her “silly” and ending the interview abruptly.
