“The Vampire Diaries” has plenty of drama in store for viewers when it returns in October.
The trailer for Season 7 teases more trouble for the residents of Mystic Falls when the Heretics start their reign. Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Stefan (Paul Wesley) have made a deal with the new top dogs in town, but they aren’t excited about it.
“Are we making a huge mistake handing over our home town to a bunch of supernatural terrorists?” Caroline, played by Candice Accola, asks in the preview.
And the mother of the Salvatore brothers gives her boys a solid piece of advice: “If I may offer you some motherly advice… Run.”
