‘Walking Dead’ Creator Robert Kirkman’s Exorcism Drama ‘Outcast’ Debuts Frightening First Trailer (Video)

Cinemax original series will air in 2016

The new Cinemax series “Outcast” debuted a chilling first look at Comic-Con on Saturday.

In the trailer, we meet Kyle Barnes (Patrick Fugit), a man from a small town in West Virginia who has dealt with demonic possession his entire life. Barnes isolates himself in order to keep his loved ones safe and meets a young boy named Joshua Austin who is battling demons of his own.

Philip Glenister also stars as Reverend Anderson, an alcoholic evangelist who views himself as the face of God’s holy war against the supernatural.

Robert Kirkman, the executive producer and writer of “The Walking Dead,” is producing “Outcast” along with Chris Black. The show is based on Kirkman’s “Outcast” comic series.

Cinemax ordered a 10-episode first season, set to premiere in 2016.
