“The Walking Dead” Season 7 is right around the corner, and series star Norman Reedus is preparing fans for big changes that will take place after Negan’s victim (or victims) is revealed on the premiere.

“Our whole world has been turned upside down, and that group of people have been fighting to have their feet firmly on the ground and have some sort of direction to live in and some sort of code to live by and moral compass, and they thought they were doing it okay, you know?” Reedus told Entertainment Weekly.

“It was hard, and they had to go through things all the time, but they were on a path, and now that path has been ripped from their feet, and things that they believe in are completely different now,” he continued. “The world is completely turned upside down.”

Reedus also said that when the cast came back to film Season 7, having to revisit the conclusion of the Season 6 cliffhanger was challenging.

“It was definitely not a joyous reunion,” he said. “I mean, it was nice to see everybody again, of course, but it wasn’t the same as in previous years.”

Fans have been eagerly — or angrily — awaiting for the series to reveal which character got killed by Negan at the conclusion of Season 6.

“The Walking Dead” returns on Oct. 23 on AMC.
