With fans still tossing around theories about Sunday’s maddening cliffhanger finale, AMC has announced that the sixth season of “The Walking Dead” will come out on Blu-ray and DVD on August 23. No word on what sort of special features will come on the discs, though there will assuredly be some interviews with the cast and crew about filming the season’s final scene.
This past season just saw Rick and his team face their most horrific test of survival yet. After defending the Alexandria Safe-Zone against a massive herd of walkers and the bloodthirsty Wolves, the heroes were captured by the Saviors with one of them killed off by the leader, Negan. According to our fan poll, 33 percent of you think that it’s Glenn whose skull has just had an intimate meeting with a barbed-wire bat. Abraham is second in the poll with 20 percent of the vote.
