(Spoiler alert: Do not keep reading if you have not seen this week’s episode of “The Walking Dead”)

Katelyn Nacon is one of the newest additions to the cast of AMC’s “The Walking Dead,” but this week saw her play a key role in a major storyline.

Nacon, who plays Enid on the hit series, spent all of Sunday’s episode traveling back to Alexandria with Glenn (Steven Yeun) after it was revealed that he survived his fall off of the dumpster. Nacon said that working with Yeun so closely was a remarkable experience.

“It was awesome. He’s such an amazing actor,” Nacon told TheWrap. “It was so easy to work with him. Whenever we worked together it felt very natural.”

Yeun even had a few viewing suggestions to share with Nacon. “I learned a lot about anime,” she said. “He recommended a few anime movies to me and they were really good.”

On the show, Enid is a fiercely independent survivor who has seen and done terrible things in order to fulfill her motto of, “Just survive somehow.” Nacon said that one of her scenes in particular gave her pause.

“When I was sitting in the car and I had to look out at my parents being eaten, that was the one that stuck with me when I was driving home,” she said.

Yet despite the graphic content, Nacon says that she is truly lucky to be part of the show, and that the cast and crew are like a family.

“Everyone there is there to have fun and have a good time and just all love what they’re doing,” she said. “And it’s just so nice to work with everyone there.”

“The Walking Dead” airs Sundays at 9 p.m./8c on AMC.
