Watch Coachella Go Gaga for Her Surprise New Single (Video)

Lady gaga treats fans to first-ever live performance of “The Cure” during Saturday headlining set

Lady Gaga shocked fans at Coachella on Saturday, debuting her spanking new track, “The Cure,” during her headlining performance.

The pop-star’s synth-pop single arrived halfway through her set, which also featured all-time classics like,”Bad Romance,” “Poker Face,” “The Edge of Glory,” “Telephone,” and “Alejandro.”

It’s unclear whether “The Cure” signals a re-release of “Joanne,” the pop star’s latest LP which dropped six months ago, or whether Gaga is working on a new project. But the singer reportedly told the audience she was “back in the studio.”

“My new single ‘The Cure’ is available on iTunes now,” Gaga told the Coachella crowd, according to Rolling Stone. The singer then dropped the studio version of the song on streaming services.

EOnline also reported that audience members in the front rows yelled: “I love you!” Gaga in return said she tears up every time she hears that from her fans.

This song tho ??????????’? #thecure #ladygaga #Coachella
