This is madness! No. This. Is. "300: Rise of an Empire!"
Warner Bros. Pictures released the first trailer for Noam Murro's follow-up to "300" — and it looks like the bloodbath will continue. Zach Snyder, who wrote and directed the original, returns to the sequel as a writer.
This time, Greek general Themistocles (Sullivan Stapleton) battles an invading army of Persians under its creepy leader, Xerxes (Rodrigo Santoro).

The 2 minute 30 second trailer sees the return of scantily clad warriors. Along with lots of skin, there will be death and destruction, the trailer promises.
Lena Headey, who seems even more appropriate for the franchise after adding "Game of Thrones" to her resume, is back as Queen Gorgo.
