42West Names 5 New Managing Directors

Susan Ciccone, Linda Guerrero, Tom Piechura, Amanda Silverman and Meredith O'Sullivan Wasson promoted to new post, the PR firm announced Monday

42West has named Susan Ciccone, Linda Guerrero, Tom Piechura, Amanda Silverman and Meredith O'Sullivan Wasson as Managing Directors of the public relations firm, principal partners Leslee Dart, Amanda Lundberg and Allan Mayer announced on Monday.

"In addition to being top-flight practitioners in their own right, these five PR professionals are the backbone of our firm and they represent its future leadership," said Dart, Lundberg and Mayer in a statement. "Their new titles are a reflection of the key role they have been playing for some time now in the rapid growth and gratifying success 42West has enjoyed."

Ciccone joined the the firm in 2007 to head the West Coast entertainment marketing team, where she has overseen national theatrical campaigns for films like "Twilight: Breaking Dawn – Part 1," Twilight: Breaking Dawn – Part 2" and "Seven Psychopaths," as well as working on numerous Academy Award campaigns, including for 2009's Best Picture winner, "The Hurt Locker."

Linda Guerrero heads 42West’s Targeted Entertainment Marketing and Promotions Division, a group she started in 2008. It has executed multicultural campaigns for major studios like Disney, 20th Century Fox and Warner Bros. on films including "Rise of the Planet of the Apes," "Tangled" and "Argo."

Piechura has been with the company since it emerged in 2004 and heads the East Coast entertainment marketing team. He has overseen a wide variety of national film campaigns for theatrical releases including "Dear John," "Easy A" and "Inglourious Basterds," along with successful Academy Awards campaigns for "The Hurt Locker," "Precious" and "Crash."

Silverman joined 42West in 2005 and currently heads the East Coast talent team, which represents a mix of musicians and actors including Mary J. Blige, Penelope Cruz, Rihanna, Charlize Theron and Johnny Knoxville.

Wasson has been the head of the West Coast talent team since 2007, with A-list clients including Will Smith, Halle Berry and Ryan Reynolds.
