“Think It Up,” the charity telecast aimed at improving education in America, will play across all four broadcast networks Friday night.
The initiative invites public school students in grades 7-12 to develop student-powered, teacher-led, crowdfunded learning projects.
It promises to be a star-studded affair, with droves of Hollywood A-listers pledging themselves to helping the youth of the nation get ahead in the classroom.
TheWrap breaks down what you have to look forward to from the event below.
Beliebers worldwide rejoice! Justin Bieber is set to take the stage during “Think It Up,” no doubt to perform his new hit single, “What Do You Mean?” Seeing as most of Bieber’s fans fall into the age range the charity initiative is targeted at, they will probably be able to get their parents to part with a few dollars in honor of the pop star.
Fresh off his debut on “The Late Show,” Stephen Colbert is reminding us why we like him so much. The comedian is donating his time to the charity for children, but let’s hope it goes better than his Ching-Chong Ding-Dong Foundation for Sensitivity to Orientals or Whatever.
The Oscar winner and Mr. Alright Alright Alright himself is scheduled to appear at the charity event, probably to encourage America’s youth to just keep learnin’.
Scarlett Johannson and Jeremy Renner
The Avengers will assemble (two of them anyway) to aid the students of America, just like they aided the world against the likes of Loki and Ultron.
The Children
Despite the plethora of A-list stars in attendance, the biggest attraction of the night really should be the kids. Hardworking students from across the nation will benefit from the telecast, perhaps giving them the crucial leg up they need today to become the leaders of tomorrow.
