“Maleficent” made just about $70 million for Disney in the U.S. alone last weekend, more or less guaranteeing that it will become a valuable franchise for the company, with all the merchandising and extra programming that such a property entails.
Hopefully, that includes a full feature film — and doll line! — inspired by 50 Cent’s take on the not-so-evil queen, as first seen on the Disney-owned “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”
50 has been making the media rounds to promote his new album, “Animal Ambition,” and some appearances have gone better than others. Luckily, he just had to dress up in horns and a leather dress — no baseball throwing required.
