Religion takes center stage during a new episode of TLC’s “90 Day Fiancé.”
In an exclusive clip obtained by TheWrap, Aleksandra’s parents from Kirov, Russia come to America to meet Josh’s parents in Rexburg, Idaho.
His family attempts to make a Russian meal for them, and they reveal some of their concerns about their daughter becoming Mormon and getting married so soon.
Alexandra’s mother says that she read online that Mormons practiced polygamy and she does not want that for her daughter. Josh’s parents point out that the practice is no longer allowed in the church and that it fell out of favor when the government outlawed it.
“90 Day Fiancé” airs Sundays at 10/9c on TLC.
