ABC has canceled freshman comedy “Cristela” and drama “Forever,” as well as “Resurrection,” after its second season.

The Friday comedy “Cristela,” which stars comedienne Cristela Alonzo, follows the young Mexican-American woman as she works to become an attorney while juggling her responsibilities to her traditional family.

“Forever,” starring Ioan Gruffod as an immortal detective, saw a steady ratings decline in its Tuesday night timeslot.

“Resurrection,” a zombie-themed drama about residents of a small town coming back to life, sometimes decades after they died, aired for two seasons, but recently hit series lows in ratings, much like the also recently canceled “Revenge.”

The cancellation news comes amidst a flurry of renewals for shows like “Scandal,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Fresh Off the Boat” and “Black-ish.”
