‘Empire’s’ Naomi Campbell Dishes to ‘View’ Hosts About Dating Younger Men: ‘I Don’t Discriminate’ (Video)

The supermodel visits ABC’s daytime talk show and discusses her role as the cougar Camilla on Fox’s hit show

Naomi Campbell revealed that age is only a number when she visited ABC’s “The View” Friday.

When guest host and singer Michelle Williams asked the 44-year-old supermodel about her dating preferences, Campbell replied: “I don’t discriminate. It’s whatever makes you happy.”

Campbell currently portrays a cougar named Camilla on Fox’s hit show “Empire.”

Her fashion designer character is in cahoots with rapper Hakeem Lyon (Bryshere Gray), the youngest son of Lucious (Terrence Howard) and Cookie (Taraji P. Henson). Since the show debuted in January, Camilla and Hakeem have already shared many steamy moments that caused Campbell to blush.

“I’m nervous when I get on the runway. You use your nerves to help you, and I love my [acting] coach. She said, ‘Just grab him and kiss him,’ before the start,” Campbell revealed.

“If you haven’t watched it, you need to start,” moderator Whoopi Goldberg said about hit drama. “You’re really good, honey.”

Wallace added, “You’re so amazing.”

During the discussion, Campbell revealed she was initially hesitant about joining the hip hop soap opera from Lee Daniels.

“I was like, ‘I can’t do it. I love my day job,’” the model said. “It’s amazing working with Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard, Lee and Danny [Strong] and Brian Grazer. It’s great to be a part of this family.”

“Empire” follows Lucious, the head of a music company, who has just found out that he may have just a few years longer to live, so he is in the process of choosing which one of his sons will inherit the company. However, his former wife and mother of their sons, Cookie, returns from prison and complicates the process.

The musical drama continues to dominate ratings and earned a Season 2 renewal after two episodes, TheWrap previously reported.
