Abrams Artists Agency has hired two new agents, the company announced Monday.

Maxwell Mitcheson and Henry Gordon join the alternative programming, digital media, licensing and branding division, with the appointments effective immediately. Mitcheson and Gordon will report to SVP Alec Shankman, who heads the division. Mitcheson will be based in Los Angeles and Gordon in New York.

Mitcheson joins Abrams from Awesomeness TV where he worked in brand partnerships, brokering influencer endorsements and branded content deals. Mitcheson started at ICM Partners before moving to the Global Branded Entertainment group, where he secured commercial endorsements for celebrity talent. For the past two years, he has helped startups — such as AdTech’s Naritiv (which was acquired by Hootsuite) and AwesomenessTV (acquired by Viacom. Mitcheson brings his extensive experience working with some of the top creators and brands in developing engaging and organic storytelling.

Gordon rejoins the agency where he previously worked as an assistant on the digital team. Now back at Abrams, Gordon joins the agency’s growing eSports and gaming vertical to represent league players and streamers in their team deals, as well as branding and marketing initiatives.
