A swing member of Broadway’s “If/Then” had some fun with John Travolta‘s botched pronunciation of Idina Menzel‘s name at the Oscars on Sunday.
An understudy in Idina’s show, Janet Krupin, tweeted out a parody Playbill insert of the performance that welcomed “Adele Dazeem” to the stage. The musical, starring Menzel, announced: “At this performance, the role of Elizabeth with be played by Adele Dazeem.”
When introducing Menzel during the awards show on Sunday, Travolta said, “please welcome the wickedly talented, one and only Adele Dazeem.” Soon after, the “Saturday Night Fever” star’s botched intro went viral, including a widely disseminated Travolta Name Generator.

“Adele made her Broadway debut as Moritz in the Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winner, ‘Nert,’ for which she received a Tony Award nomination” the insert jokingly says in reference to Menzel’s performance in “Rent.”
Menzel’s other performances that get the Travolta treatment in the insert include “Wickedly” and “Farfignugen.”
