Adorable Dog Interrupts Live Russian TV News Broadcast in Now-Viral Moment (Video)

The black lab was loose inside the studio, but anchor is a “cat lady”

A viral video of an adorable dog crashing the set of a live Russian newscast has been viewed over six million times.

The anchor Ilona Linarte gasped when the black Labrador retriever snuck up on her during a live read. We don’t speak Russian, but the New York Post translated her comments: “What is this dog doing in the studio?”

The canine then jumped up, putting its front paws on the desk. Linarte petted the dog once she realized it just wanted attention.

The Russian network later clarified the dog was on set for another show but got loose, according to the Post.

While the video has been enjoyed over six million times, Linarte wasn’t as amused as most viewers.

“I actually prefer cats,” she said, according to the Post. “I’m a cat lady.”
