Adult Swim Jumps Into the Stream(ing)

Cable network launches live-streaming functionality, for your “Robot Chicken”-watching convenience

Finally, you can watch “Robot Chicken” in real time, no matter where you happen to be.

“Adult Swim” now offers live streaming on its website and the Watch [adult swim] app on iOS and Android devices, the cable network said Wednesday.

The live-streaming functionality will allow viewers to watch Adult Swim programs such as “Robot Chicken” and “Childrens Hospital” as they air, from any location on any device. (They will, however, be required to log in using their TV-provider account information.)

According to Adult Swim, the functionality will add value to the network’s official site, which averages 3.6 million unique users each month in the United States
