Eight-episode series “The Herbert Brothers” will follow a homegrown, family-run ad agency launched with $1 million Doritos commercial contest prize

A&E has found its newest reality series.

The network behind “Duck Dynasty,” “Storage Wars” and other hit unscripted shows has given the greenlight to “The Herbert Brothers.”

The series, which has received an eight-episode order, will revolve around the quintet of brothers who launched a homegrown advertising agency after winning the “Doritos Crash the Super Bowl” contest.

The brothers, who are based in small-town Batesville, Ind., beat out Madison Avenue agencies to win the contest with their Doritos commercial, scoring a $1 million prize, which they used to launch their agency. Since then, the Herbert Brothers have developed commercials for Pepsi, GoDaddy and Shasta, among others.

“The five brothers still live and work in their idyllic hometown and enlist help from the locals; their friends act, mom caters, dad builds sets and neighbors help script,” A&E said of the upcoming series.
