Pacifica Radio is in talks with Al Jazeera to put the service on its five stations

Pacifica Radio is in talks with Al Jazeera to put the news service on its five radio stations, the Washington Post reports.

If an agreement is reached, the left-leaning Pacifica would become the biggest U.S. broadcaster to air the controversial Al Jazeera, perhaps best known for being the first network to broadcast video communiques from Osama bin Laden after the 9/11 attacks.

After four years of operation, Al Jazeera English can be seen only in the Washington, D.C., area, Burlington, Vt., and Toledo, Ohio.
