The pilot, written by Sharon Horgan and Holly Walsh, centers on a slightly slightly self-centered female boss at a high-end luxury-goods department store who finds her ways challenged when the boss's son (Tobias Jr.) comes to town and makes youth and sex the new company focus.

Thicke — regarded by some as Canada's greatest natural resource — will play Eastmore, department store owner and man from whose loins Tobias Jr. sprung.
