Alec Baldwin Hijacks Fallon’s ‘Thank You Notes’ to Bless Twitter, Mock Trump (Video)

Social media platform’s new 280-character limit is “Huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge” news

Jimmy Fallon has a great deal to be thankful for, but Alec Baldwin’s Donald Trump will always take precedent on NBC late-night.

The unexpected star of “Saturday Night Live” Season 42 dropped by “The Tonight Show” unannounced on Friday, when Baldwin hijacked the host’s “Thank You Notes” segment.

“Thank you, Twitter, for raising your character limit to 280 this week,” Baldwin began. “Or as Donald Trump put it, ‘This news is huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge.’”

(We approximated the number of u’s there — lay off us.)

Baldwin then quickly plugged his Saturday appearance on the season premiere of “SNL,” which will be hosted by Ryan Gosling. Musical guest is Jay-Z, and old-man Baldwin had a little fun with the rapper’s moniker.

Oh, and Fallon got his own licks in last night — mostly at the expense of the recently sentenced Anthony Weiner. Watch the video above.
