Watch Alex Jones Get Coffee Tossed in His Face by Seattle Pedestrian (Video)

Fake news alert! Infowars founder falsely claims the brew was “boiling”

For someone who frequently decries “fake news,” Infowars host Alex Jones sure does like to promote it. In his latest episode, Jones takes to the streets of Seattle to, well, we’re not really sure.

He starts off talking about the media’s perceived failure to label the Barcelona terror attack as an act of Islamic terrorism. Then he invites pedestrians to engage in conversation with him — and fight him.

The worst (read: funniest) part comes about three-and-a-half minutes into the video. As a man yells “You’re trash!” to Jones. The radio host chases him down the street, croaking out insults as he goes. The pedestrian then tosses a thermos full of “boiling” coffee at Jones’ face.

There’s just one problem with this story: The coffee was not “boiling,” as Jones claimed. When the beverage was tossed on him, he barely flinched — not the normal response to contact with extremely hot liquid.

You can watch the full video above. To see Alex Jones face off with his caffeinated arch-nemesis, skip ahead to 3:35. NOTE: the video lags.
