Alicia Keys, Katy Perry, ‘Glee’ Cast, fun. to Join Inaugural Fesitivities

Also appearing at the events will be Stevie Wonder, Brad Paisley, Usher, Smokey Robinson and John Legend

 

Alicia Keys, Katy Perry, fun. and the members of the "Glee" cast are among the entertainers who will be making appearances during the Kids’ Inaugural concert and official inaugural balls in Washington, D.C., on Jan. and Jan. 21, President Obama’s inaugural committee announced Friday.

Also appearing at the events will be Stevie Wonder, Brad Paisley, Usher, Smokey Robinson, John Legend, Marc Anthony, Mindless Behavior, Nick Cannon, Soul Children of Chicago and Far East Movement, the committee said in a news release.

“We are honored and excited to have such a diverse, talented group of musical guests joining Americans from across the country to celebrate the 57th Inauguration,” said Steve Kerrigan, president and CEO of the inauguration committee, in the release.

First Lady Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden will host the Kids’ Inaugural “for America’s children and families as part of their ongoing commitment to our military families,” the release said.

The committee has previously announced that Beyoncé Kelly Clarkson and James Taylor will perform at the Inauguration ceremony in front of the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 21.
