Alyson Hannigan has been set as the Season 3 host of “Penn & Teller: Fool Us,” the CW announced Thursday.
“My oldest daughter and I are huge fans of the show, so I am so excited to be hosting a program our whole family can watch together,” said Hannigan in a statement. “Not to mention, Penn & Teller are genius entertainers so any opportunity to work with them is amazing. And, of course, I’ve always wanted to play Vegas!”
“Teller and I are big fans of Alyson,” added Jillette. “She is talented, smart and funny. We are so happy that she’s joining us as host this season. She has promised us that she loves magic and can’t get enough. She’d better not be bluffing, because we’re going to give her more than enough.”
“Fool Us” is a one-hour magic competition series featuring duo Penn & Teller. The show is created and produced by 117 Productions and September Films. Penn Jillette, Teller, Peter Adam Golden and Andrew Golder are executive producers.
The show returns in the summer.
Hannigan is best known for her roles on “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and “How I Met Your Mother.” She is represented by APA and Joel McKuin at McKuin, Frankel, Whitehead.
