Amanda Seyfried might be gearing up to play ill-fated porn legend Linda Lovelace, but in the meantime she's engaging in something far more chilling.
The trailer for Seyfried's new movie "Gone" has hit the Internet, offering a taste of how Seyfried will handle the role of a gun-toting concerned sibling intent on preventing a family tragedy.
In the film, Seyfried plays Jill Parrish, who returns home to find her sister gone and becomes convinced that it's the work of a serial killer who had kidnapped her two years before. Finding little sympathy for her theory among police, Parrish takes matters — and a fistful of lead-blasting heat — into her own hands.
"Gone," directed by Heitor Dhalia and released by Summit Entertainment, is in theaters Feb. 24.
