Ratings: ‘America’s Got Talent’ Dips But Still Dominates

Univision finishes second in the demo

Americas Got Talent NBC

NBC’s “Talent” didn’t need a big night to beat the competition — which is good, because it didn’t really have one on Tuesday.

Still, NBC was first in ratings with a 1.6 rating/6 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and first in viewers with an average of 7.8 million, according to preliminary numbers. At 8 p.m., “Food Fighters” got a 1.1/4 and 4.6 million viewers. At 9, “America’s Got Talent” had night-highs of a 1.9/6 and 9.4 million viewers. The talent competition’s rating dipped 10 percent from last week, tying a low.

Univision was second in ratings with a 1.2/4 and fourth in viewers with 3.2 million.
