Ratings: NBC’s ‘AGT’ and ‘World of Dance’ Beat Other Broadcast Nets Combined

Tuesday winner scores nearly 8 times Fox’s total tune-in

NBC absolutely dominated Tuesday night with “America’s Got Talent” and “World of Dance.”

With the killer combination, NBC actually topped the other four English-language broadcast networks in the key 18-49 demographic combined. Additionally, NBC doubled second-place CBS among total viewers.

NBC was first in ratings with a 2.3 rating/10 share in the advertiser-coveted demographic and in total viewers with an average of 11 million, according to preliminary numbers. “AGT” at 8 p.m. scored a 2.5/11 and 12.4 million viewers. At 10, “World of Dance” earned a 1.9/8 and 8.1 million viewers.

ABC and Univision tied for second in ratings, both with a 0.6. ABC had a 3 share, Univision got a 2. ABC was third in total viewers with 2.5 million, and. Univision was fourth with 1.6 million.

For ABC, “Downward Dog” at 8 had a 0.7/3 and 3.7 million viewers. Reruns followed.

CBS was fourth in ratings with a 0.5/2, but second in viewers with 5.5 million. After repeats, “48 Hours: NCIS” got a 0.4/2 and 4.2 million viewers.

Fox was fifth in ratings with a 0.4/2 and in viewers with 1.4 million, airing just reruns.

Telemundo was sixth in ratings with a 0.3/1 and in viewers with 948,000.

The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.2/1 and in viewers with 819,000. Following a repeat, “iZombie” at 9 received a 0.3/1 and 792,000 viewers.
