Amy Poehler, Adam Scott Re-Create Opening Credits to ‘Hart to Hart’ (Video)

Shot for shot remake billed as "the greatest event in television history"

Prepare to be dazzled America.

Adam Scott and Amy Poehler have teamed up for a $40 million, shot for shot remake of the opening credits to the 1970s’ detective series “Hart to Hart.”

They’re promising a production that dwarfs any previous attempts to recreate the show’s fourth season opener and one that will stand as “the greatest event in television history.”

It’s not the first time Scott has made this type of boast. Last year, he partnered with Jon Hamm to perform the main title sequence to another detective show, “Simon & Simon.” As you might expect, the results were astounding.

This time around, the makers of the latest extravaganza are taking viewers behind the scenes to get an inside look at the backstage drama that went into the making of the project, all of it hosted by “Survivor”s’ Jeff Probst.

Poehler and Scott’s on-screen chemistry may be electric, but the strong-willed “Park & Recreation” co-stars clashed over everything from who would leave their trailers first to the timing of a champagne toast.

Here’s a look at the big event.
