Amy Schumer Exits Longtime Agency UTA (Exclusive)

Actress and comedian had been with UTA for close to 10 years

Amy Schumer is leaving her longtime agency, United Talent Agency, TheWrap has learned exclusively.

Schumer had been with UTA, an agency that packaged projects like “I Feel Pretty,” “Trainwreck” and her comedy series “Inside Amy Schumer,” for close to 10 years. A source told TheWrap she’s expected to land at WME. Currently, Schumer is set up at WME for personal appearances. A spokesperson for WME has not yet responded to TheWrap’s request for comment.

Schumer’s other most recent credit is “Thank You for Your Service.” “I Feel Pretty” has grossed $88 million at the worldwide box office, while her hit comedy “Trainwreck” has earned $140 million globally since its debut in 2015. She also served as a writer and co-producer on “Trainwreck.”

She is represented by The Lede Company, Maverick Management and Schreck Rose Dapello Adams Berlin & Dunham.

A spokesperson for Schumer has not yet responded to TheWrap’s request for comment. A spokesperson for UTA had no comment.
