Anderson Cooper Has Got ‘Minute’ Fever (video)

The CNN anchor can’t stop showing off his cookie face

NBC’s "Minute to Win It" has a new No. 1 fan: CNN’s Anderson Cooper.

Last Friday, just before the show’s debut, AC tried out one of the games from the Peacock gameshow during a guest hosting gig on "Live! With Regis and Kelly." He and Kelly Ripa played "Face the Cookie," a stunt in which folks try to move an Oreo from the top of their face into their mouths — while not using their hands.

Apparently Coop was hooked. On Tuesday’s "AC 360," he demanded that two of his staffers try out the game on-air, while new "State of the Union" Candy Crowley looked on, stunned.

Forget all the buzz about Cooper hooking up with CBS News. Clearly, AC is sending out a plea for ABC to revive "The Mole" with him as host. (Or maybe MoJoe is projecting).

Anyway, we’re expecting "Face the Cookie" to pop up on CNN’s "The Situation Room." You know you want to see Wolf Blitzer and Jack "Smiley" Cafferty with cookies on their mugs.
