Angela Kinsey, Max Greenfield and Kirstie Alley to Guest Star on ‘Hot in Cleveland’

Alley will appear in a crossover for her new TV Land sitcom “Kirstie”

“The Office” alum Angela Kinsey and New Girl” star Max Greenfield will guest star on the upcoming fifth season of TV Land’s “Hot in Cleveland,” which began production this week, the cable network said Monday.

“Cheers” alum Kirstie Alley, who stars in TV Land’s sitcom “Kirstie,” will also guest on the upcoming season, which will include the show’s 100th episode and is slated to premiere in spring 2014.

Greenfield will play a charming con man who poses as a pet adoption consultant, while Kinsey will portray an admissions counselor for a pre-school that Joy (played by “HiC” star Jane Leeves) wants her grandson Wilbur to attend. Alley will play Broadway star Maddie Banks, her character from “Kirstie,” in a crossover appearance.

The fifth season will also see the return of guest stars Jennifer Love Hewitt, Craig Ferguson, John Mahoney, Michael McMilian, Jay Harrington, Dave Foley and Georgia Engel.

“100 episodes is a huge accomplishment for any TV show,” TV Land president Larry W. Jones said. “We’re so proud of the cast and crew, and we’re looking forward to another fantastic season with new twists and turns in every episode.”

The TV Land series, which in addition to Leeves stars Valerie Bertinelli, Betty White and Wendie Malick, has become known for its guest stars, such as the recent reunion of the female cast of “The Mary Tyler Moore Show,” for an episode that premiered Sept 4.
