High-profile Harvey Weinstein rape accusers Rose McGowan, Annabella Sciorra and Asia Argento spent their Thanksgiving holiday together in a “meeting of the minds” catered by world-renowned chef Anthony Bourdain.
Bourdain, Argento’s boyfriend and host of the popular food and travel series “Parts Unknown,” documented the experience via Twitter on Saturday.
“It was an honor to cook for this meeting of the minds,” Bourdain captioned a photo of Argento, McGowan and Sciorra, three women among roughly 80 who have accused the disgraced movie mogul of harrowing acts of sexual assault.
“I bet that was quite the dinner,” one user wrote in response to the photo, while another asked, “Can I be your sous-chef next time? Or just a fly on the wall?”
All three women shared the same photo to their social accounts, with McGowan calling the evening “magical.”
An Instagram commenter remarked on the “powerful trio. You’re making the world we live in a better place. So much [love] to you.”
Another fan tweeted: “If nothing comes of it, least they got an amazing meal.”
Accounts from the three actresses represent some of the most serious and criminal acts Weinstein stands accused of since two exposes imploded his professional and person life in October. His consistent position on the matter has been that “any allegations of non-consensual sex are unequivocally denied.”
McGowan said Weinstein raped her in a hotel room at the Sundance Film Festival in 1997. Sciorra (“The Sopranos”) said Weinstein forced his way into her home in the early ’90s and raped her. Argento said she was 21 when Weinstein forced her into oral sex at the Cannes Film Festival, then engaged in a damaging and codependent relationship in the years following.
Criminal investigations into Weinstein are underway in Los Angeles, New York and London. He is believed to be seeking treatment at an Arizona wellness facility.
