‘Arrested Development’ Trailer: The Bluths Are (Finally) Back to Remind You There’s Always Money in the Banana Stand (Video)

Final eight episodes of the comedy’s fifth season debut March 15

Buster Bluth is on trial for murder, and Michael Bluth is claiming that their company called “Fake Blocks” is, in fact, not fake.

So, typical “Arrested Development” stuff.

Netflix released a trailer for Part 2 of the show’s fifth season, which you can watch above. The final eight episodes of the Mitch Hurwitz-created comedy’s fifth season debut on March 15.

Here’s the official synopsis for Part Two: “In the second half of ‘Arrested Development’s’ fifth season, pressures mount on the Bluth family as Buster heads toward a murder trial. The Bluth company is on the hook to build a ‘smart’ border wall that puts them in debt and risks exposing a software hoax perpetrated by George-Michael. Soon the gay mafia is involved and it appears that even Michael can’t save the family this time. And Tobias becomes a Golden Girl.”

The first part of Season 5 launched last May. While that may be a long wait, it’s not nearly as long as the gap after season 4, which first premiered in 2013. And both of those gaps don’t even compare to the amount of time fans spent sitting around before for the show was revived with a fourth season on Netflix, seven years after ending its three-season run with a cancellation by Fox in 2006.

The show stars Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, Michael Cera, Portia de Rossi, Alia Shawkat, Tony Hale, David Cross, Jeffrey Tambor and Jessica Walter.

“Arrested Development” Season 5 Part 2 will premiere March 15 on Netflix.
