“Chicago PD” alum Josh Segarra has joined Season 5 of the CW’s “Arrow” as a series regular, TheWrap has learned.
The actor joins Echo Kellum as a new member of the cast of the superhero drama starring Stephen Amell.
Segarra will play Adrian Chase, Star City’s new district attorney, who becomes an ally to Amell’s Oliver Queen, newly inaugurated mayor of the often under-siege city. In the comic books, Adrian’s alter ego is Vigilante, a district attorney who seeks justice in his own way after his family is murdered.
Team “Arrow” is rebuilding after saying goodbye to original cast member Katie Cassidy’s Black Canary in Season 4. The Season 4 finale also ended with almost everyone leaving town, leaving room for new characters to join Oliver and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) in their continued quest to save the world.
Segarra recurred on “Chicago PD” as Justin Voight and also had a large role on USA’s “Sirens.” He is represented by Abrams Artists and ATA Management.
