ReelzChannel has signed an output deal with Asylum Entertainment to produce 50 hours of unscripted programming for the network next year.
The hours will be distributed over 10 series.

The deal represents an extension of the current relationship, which began in 2011 with “The Kennedys” miniseries. A subsequent development deal has yielded Asylum-produced unscripted programming including “Beverly Hills Pawn,” “The Capones,” and “Hollywood Hillbillies.”

Hubbard, chief executive officer of ReelzChannel. “Reelz’s viewers, distributors and sponsors will be the beneficiaries with an immense amount of truly original programming coming to our network.”
