‘Attack of the Show’ Alum Tiffany Smith, Kristian Harloff to Host ‘Movie3Some’ Digital Series

Series, featuring celebrity co-hosts like Guillermo Del Toro and M. Night Shyamalan, is jointly produced by Fandango Movieclips and YouTube Space LA

“Attack of the Show” alum Tiffany Smith and Kristian Harloff (“Schmoes Know”) will co-host the digital video series “Movie3Some.”

The show, which will feature a third celebrity co-host who changes each week, is the first in a series of movie-themed video shows jointly produced by Fandango Movieclips and YouTube Space LA, the companies announced Thursday.

First guests will include Dwight Howard, Jon Heder (“Napoleon Dynamite”), Guillermo Del Toro, M. Night Shyamalan and Jason Blum.

Thursday’s pilot episode discusses “Minions” and “Ant-Man,” as well as news from Comic-Con, and can be viewed at Fandango Movieclips on YouTube.

The show follows in the footsteps of Fandango Movieclips’ other new original video series, “I Love Movies,” in which pop culture influences share movie memories throughout their lives.

The company, which offers movie trailers and movie-related video content on YouTube, is using YouTube’s L.A. production facilities to experiment with new formats and types of content.

“Fandango Movieclips has a long history of proven success on YouTube, and we are very proud to have been selected for YouTube Space LA’s highly-regarded residency program,” said Fandango Chief Creative Officer, Sandro Corsaro. “We are excited to have the opportunity to explore new ideas that celebrate the movies and moviegoing on YouTube at their world class facilities.”

Fandango, a division of NBCUniversal, acquired Zefr’s Movieclips.com and its network of 25 YouTube channels in April 2014. The online ticketing platform took control of Movieclips’ massive archive of 45,000 clips — which have generated 5.2 billion views on YouTube since the network’s launch in 2009.

Movieclips is the largest movie network on YouTube, averaging 360 million video views per month and seven million subscribers.

YouTube Spaces are production facilities designed for YouTube creators to produce video content, offering service from the production all the way to the uploading to YouTube. The spaces are located in Los Angeles, London, Tokyo, New York, Sao Paulo and Berlin. They also enable creators to learn from industry experts and collaborate with other creators, all at no charge.
