A summer packed with popcorn flicks stands between now and Oscar season, but the Weinstein Company unveiled a look at one of its awards season thoroughbreds with the new trailer for "August: Osage County."
The film doesn't hit theaters until Nov. 8, but the sneak peek abounds with the kind of meaty emoting and makeup-eschewing performances that send Academy members into raptures.
It doesn't hurt "August: Osage County" boasts a cast that includes Meryl Streep playing a pill-popping mother and Julia Roberts as her bitter daughter.
