A few weeks after “Avengers: Endgame” undoubtedly dominates the box office, its Ant-Man, Paul Rudd, will host the Season 44 finale of “SNL.”

One week prior to that May 18 show, which will mark Rudd’s fourth turn leading the NBC sketch-comedy staple’s players, “Late Night” star Emma Thompson will make her “Saturday Night Live” hosting debut.

Rudd is paired with musical guest DJ Khaled, while Thompson gets the recently reunited Jonas Brothers. Khaled will be plugging his 11th album, which comes out a day before his episode. The Jonas boys are currently celebrating their first original release in six years.

“Endgame,” which is already breaking box office records, soars into theaters on April 26. Thompson and Mindy Kaling’s movie about a late-night comedy TV show comes out on June 7.

As previously announced, “SNL” will return on May 4 with host Adam Sandler and musical guest Shawn Mendes. The episode, which kicks off a string of three in a row, marks Sandler’s first time hosting at his old haunt.

“Saturday Night Live” is produced in association with Broadway Video. The creator and executive producer is Lorne Michaels.
