Avril Lavigne, Ashley Tisdale, and G.E.M. will join Demi Lovato in the upcoming animated musical comedy “Charming,” 3QU Media announced Wednesday.

The three will play Snow White, Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty, respectively, while Lovato will play the female lead, Lenore. Casting of Prince Charming is expected to be revealed soon.

Produced by John H. Williams, one of the Oscar-winning producers behind “Shrek,” and written and directed by Ross Venokur, “Charming” is a 3QU Media Production of a Vanguard Animation film in association with WV Enterprises.

SC Films International is handling foreign sales for the film currently in production at the new Cinesite (“Edge of Tomorrow,” “World War Z,” “Harry Potter”) animation studio in Montreal.

Lavigne has made an impressive mark on the music community over the years. She has released five studio albums that have sold more than 35 million copies worldwide, sold more than 50 million singles, generated over one billion views on multiple “certified” music videos, garnered eight Grammy nominations, and is the winner of eight Canadian Juno Awards.

Tisdale — an actress, producer and singer — currently stars in the TBS comedy series “Clipped,” and will be seen alongside Jason Biggs in the indie comedy “Drive, She Said.” She is an executive producer for the ABC Family series “Young & Hungry,” is developing projects at her Blondie Girl Productions and has appeared in the three-time Emmy Award winning animated television series “Phineas and Ferb.”

G.E.M., real name Gloria Tang Tsz-kei, is a Chinese superstar, whose career skyrocketed with her self-titled 2008 EP. Her international appeal is reflected in sold-out tours around the world and a growing number of television show appearances. On Chinese singing competition show “I Am a Singer,” she was crowned “Queen of the Singers” for being the highest-ranking female singer of the entire season.
