‘Baby Shark’ Goes Hollywood: Sophie Turner, Josh Groban Perform Uber-Popular Kids’ Song (Video)

Something tells us your preschooler will still prefer Bounce Patrol

James Corden enlisted “Game of Thrones” star Sophie Turner and singer-actor Josh Groban to perform the grandest version ever of the hugely popular kids’ song “Baby Shark.”

A gospel choir eventually joined the over-the-top (and classy) performance.

Here’s how the “Late Late Show” host set the whole thing up: “Once in a lifetime, you know, a song comes around and defines a generation. A song that unites us all together in beautiful harmony. John Lennon’s ‘Imagine,’ Marvin Gaye’s ‘What’s Going On?’ But never has a song so clearly defined a generation as the one we’re talking about tonight.”

“A song so iconic it’s been viewed nearly 2 billion times on YouTube,” Corden continued. “There’s only 7 billion people in the world. Think about that for just a second — it’s powerful stuff. I’m talking, of course, about the modern classic, ‘Baby Shark.’”

Corden doesn’t think the song should just be for children, however, so he kicked off his “definitive version” for mommies and daddies.

Yes, Baby Shark (Corden), Mommy Shark (Turner) and Daddy Shark (Groban) all did the shark-hand stuff at the end.

And for your young ones, below is the version this writer’s 20-month-old daughter prefers. Sorry for getting it stuck in your head all day.
