Baby Yoda is coming to The Sims.

The popular Electronic Arts game announced Friday that in The Sims 4, players will be able to build a statue of the lovable, green scene-stealer from “The Mandalorian,” the live-action “Star Wars” TV show that is streaming now on Disney+. But you can’t actually use Baby Yoda as your avatar just yet.

But hope, we have.

Baby Yoda mania has hit “Star Wars” fans ever since the character, officially known as “The Child,” made his debut at the end of the premiere episode. It’s helped to resuscitate the “Star Wars” franchise under Disney’s reign, ahead of next week’s release of “Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker.”

Last month, a Disney spokesperson told TheWrap that apparel and accessories featuring the little green guy would soon be coming to a host of retailers including Amazon and Zazzle, and the websites for Target, Kohl’s, Macy’s, HotTopic and BoxLunch and that apparel would be available at the Disney Store, shopDisney, Disney Parks and at retail stores before the holidays.

In the past few weeks, both Mattel and Hasbro have announced they’ll be coming out with plush dolls and other figurines and accessories, though you’ll have to wait until next spring to get your hands on any of them.

The inclusion of a Baby Yoda was one of the reasons for the intense secrecy around “The Mandalorian” in the weeks leading up to its release. It was the one show that Disney+ did not make available for critics ahead of its Nov. 12 premiere. Now we know why. (Before “Star Wars” fans yell at us, we know he’s not exactly a child version of Yoda — the 900-year-old Jedi Master and mentor to Luke Skywalker — but a child of the same, unidentified race as Yoda.)

The first six episodes of “The Mandalorian” are now available to stream on Disney+.
