Bachelorette Becca Kufrin Would Go to Arie’s Wedding Even After He Dumped Her (Video)

She just needs an open bar

The current “Bachelorette” Becca Kufrin apparently has a high tolerance for uncomfortable situations.

Becca says she is open to attending Arie’s wedding with Lauren Burnham, even after that cringe-worthy on-air break-up last season on “The Bachelor.” She’s just got one condition — there has to be an open bar.

Speaking to the ladies of “The View” on Wednesday, two days after the premiere of her season of “The Bachelorette,” Becca said “If there’s an open bar and I’m invited, I’ll go!” when asked if she’d attend the wedding of her ex-fiancé.

After former “Bachelor” Arie Luyendyk Jr. proposed to her during the last season’s finale, he changed his mind and broke up with her just weeks after their engagement… and then proposed to runner-up Lauren on air, too. Becca and Arie then, of course, sat down for an awkward chat with host Chris Harrison during the “After the Final Rose” special.

Becca is currently engaged to one of those contestants we met on Monday, and said that after going through the experience herself, she understands why Arie struggled with the decision.

“I can definitely empathize with him so much more, and it’s tough because if you’re doing the journey right, you’re open to everyone that you meet,” she said. “And you start to develop feelings for a couple guys. And so at the end, I see where he struggled.” She added that, yes, it is possible to fall in love with multiple people at the same time. “It happens,” she said.

The hosts, however, thought Becca dodged a bullet when it came to Arie. Meghan McCain chimed in to apologize for “all of Arizona, because he’s from there and it’s embarrassing.” You can read more about the dramatic end to Arie’s season of “The Bachelor” right over here.
