Those memories lighting the corners of Barbra Streisand‘s mind will be finding their way into a book soon.

The singer/actress/director is penning a memoir, which will be published by Viking in 2017, the New York Times reports.

The autobiography will offer Streisand’s own take on her life, as opposed to the myriad biographies published about Streisand throughout the years, Viking president Brian Tart promised, noting that previous works about her life are “full of myths and inaccuracies.”

Previously, Streisand wrote the 2010 interior-style book “My Passion for Design” for Viking.

In the past, Streisand has toyed with the idea of putting her life story on paper, telling the Associated Press in 2009 that she had drafted chapters of the potential memoir.

“Do I really want to write about my life? Do I really want to relive my life? I’m not sure,” Streisand said at the time.
