Everyone’s on the Hunt for the ‘Beauty and the Beast’ Gay Scene Online

Here’s why you won’t be able to find it… ever

Disney is going to extra lengths to make sure moviegoers have to go to the theater to see what all the fuss is about with Josh Gad’s “gay scene” in “Beauty and the Beast.” If you think you can find it on-line, think again.

In the run-up to the film’s release this past Friday, a lot of hype was built around the reveal that Gad’s take on LeFou would turn the goofy sidekick’s admiration of the villain Gaston (Luke Evans) into a full-on unrequited gay crush. Also unlike the original, LeFou would get to join Belle, The Beast and the members of his court in their happy ending, getting a man worthy of his affections.

Of course, the buzz over LeFou has spawned a wave of internet pirates looking to leak clips featuring Gad indulging in his character’s gay subtext. But Disney, true to their reputation, has been very protective of their film, pulling down any unauthorized clips from the new movie that haven’t been posted to their official YouTube channels.

In the meantime, here’s one clip Disney will let you enjoy, in which LeFou sings the praises of his manly, pompous crush with the help of a rowdy tavern crowd. Check out the clip above… and go see “Beauty and the Beast” in theaters now.
