Bernie Sanders Does a Larry David Impression for Jimmy Kimmel (Video)

The Democratic presidential candidate thinks the “Curb Your Enthusiam” star was “pretty, pretty, pretty good” on “SNL”

Bernie Sanders thinks Larry David‘s impression of him on “Saturday Night Live” last weekend was on point, and returned the favor while appearing on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” on Wednesday.

“I thought it was pretty, pretty, pretty good!” the democratic candidate said in his best David voice. The line is one of the actor’s most well-known catchphrases from his HBO show, “Curb Your Enthusiasm.”

David played Sanders during an “SNL” sketch mocking the first Democratic presidential debate, with Kate McKinnon playing Hillary Clinton and Alec Baldwin playing the role of Jim Webb.

While a guest on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” Sanders also talked about his stance on marijuana and the war on drugs, highlighting the fact that the United States has more people in jail than any other country.

“I think we gotta end the war on drugs,” he told Jimmy Kimmel. “I’m not unfavorably disposed to moving towards the legalization of marijuana.”
