Bernie Sanders has a favorite Republican, but won’t say who it is.
“I”ll tell you something funny. I won’t tell you,” Sanders told Fox News Channel anchor Bret Baier on Monday.
“I have favorite Republicans, people I work with,” Sanders added. “If I tell you, it will be a disservice to that person.”
Baier was moderating the Democratic town hall with Sanders, who has never been interviewed on the network before. Baier knew that given the conservative leanings of many in his audience, he would have at least a few Republicans tuned in.
But if they were hoping Sanders would say name a favorite, they had to be disappointed.
