BET Awards 2014: The Complete List of Nominees

“Kevin Hart: Let Me Explain” will duke it out with “12 Years a Slave” for Best Movie

The nominees are in for the 2014 BET Awards, spanning 20 categories as selected by the network’s voting academy.

The awards show will air live Sunday, June 29 at 8 p.m. ET on BET Networks from the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles. It will premiere elsewhere around the world on BET’s international network July 1, 8:00 p.m. GMT.

Stephen G. Hill, network president of Music Programming and Specials, and Lynne Harris Taylor, vice president of Specials, will serve as executive producers, along with Jesse Collins. He’s the chief executive officer of Jesse Collins Entertainment.

Along with the awards show, the BET Experience at L.A. Live will take place from June 27-29, headlined by Outkast.

“This year’s nominees represent the best of the culture,” Hill said. “It’s great to see our talented new artists right alongside our more beloved ones with long careers. We appreciate our BET Awards nomination committee, over 300 strong, for their efforts and congratulate all the nominees.”
